Frequently Asked Questions
Where is Blue Rock Reflexology?
Blue Rock Reflexology is situated in the MicroSpace brick building which houses a community of different small businesses.
Look for #158 on top of the door. When you arrive, please phone me, so I can let you in the building.
We have free parking in any stall that says 'MicroSpace Reserved'. If there is no parking left at the front of the building, park around the back in the designated 'MicroSpace Reserved' parking. Or alternatively, you can park on 40 St SE.
Is Reflexology covered by my insurance?
Reflexology is covered by many providers but please check with your insurance company to see if your policy has coverage.
Do I need to have a pedicure before Reflexology?
Absolutely not! I have worked with many different peoples feet and am used to seeing feet of all different sizes, shapes and appearances.
Does Reflexology hurt?
Reflexology shouldn't be painful and hurt. It is common and normal for some people to have areas on their feet, ears or face that feel a little tender at times which can often indicate an energy imbalance.
Do I have to take my clothes off?
Absolutely not! The only item of clothing that needs to be removed are your socks when having foot reflexology.
Can children or elderly people have Reflexology?
Yes! In fact, many children and seniors find the treatment highly relaxing.
Treatment times can also be shortened if needed.
There is a discount for children and seniors available at time of payment.
What can I do if my insurance company does not cover Reflexology?
Our association of reflexology therapists (RAC) encourage people to contact their Human Resources or their insurance provider directly to see if reflexology is covered.
If coverage is not provided, I can give you a letter from Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) to your insurance provider or your Human Resources Department, asking for Reflexology to be added to your benefit package.
If you would like a copy of this letter please contact me.
